QPR TO APPEAL AS FEARS OVER BIG FINE GROW

QPR have vowed to fight on in their battle to avoid a fine running into tens of millions of pounds for flouting the English Football League’s Financial Fair Play rules.
An arbitratation panel has dismissed the west London club’s claim that the EFL’s 2012 FFP rules were unlawful under competition law, and also found that the fine levied by the EFL, which is believed to be £40m, on the club was not disproportionate.
