COKER ON MEND IN A HURRY

BEN Coker’s recovery is progressing well ahead of schedule.
The 28-year-old Southend full-back broke his leg in a pre-season game against Colchester Under-21s in August and was expected to be sidelined for six months.
However, he could be back on the pitch before the end of the year.
Delighted Shrimpers manager Phil Brown said: “Ben is way ahead of schedule and in a month’s time he could be back in training and in two he could be playing.
