It’s going to be a big scrap to avoid Championship drop zone

So who goes down?

Although midweek away wins will have given both Plymouth Argyle and Luton Town a big boost and they’ve given themselves a chance of beating the drop, I still think they are going down.

That leaves just one place and I think it’s a five-team mini-league between Derby County, Cardiff City, Oxford United, Stoke City and Hull City.

It’s so tight and the immediate focus of all those teams has to be just staying in touch with the pack.

It may well go right to the wire.
