LUKE Williams’ public criticism of Swansea’s January recruitment was pretty stinging, but it doesn’t surprise me.
I spoke to Luke regularly when he managed Notts County in the National League and he’s a manager who is very precise and specific in what he demands, not just of his players but also of his club.
Back then, he gave his players an app to tell them how much sleep they needed and demanded reams of honest feedback after every game so that they could build up a bank of information. It was unheard of at that level, but typical of his approach.
