NORWICH defender Shane Duffy has apologised to Duane Holmes after his horror tackle left the Preston midfielder with a broken leg.
The pair clashed 20 minutes into the Lily-whites’ 1-0victory at Carrow Road on Tuesday evening and Holmes, 30, is likely to miss the remainder of the season.
Duffy, who played alongside Holmes at Yeovil in 2014, wrote on X: “Spoke to Duane yesterday as I know him and have played with him. Terrible tackle from my point of view and definitely not trying to hurt him in any way. Apologies once again and wish him a speedy recovery.&...
