INFLUENTIAL: Mat Sadler in his Shrewsbury days

PAUL Hurst says he is delighted to see “quiet leader” Mat Sadler succeeding in management at Walsall.
Centre-back Sadler, 39, was a cornerstone of the Shrewsbury side that reached the League One play-offs in 2018.
Now he is flying high at the top of League Two after a wildly successful start to his managerial career at the Bescot.
“I’m still in contact with Mat from time to time and I’m just really pleased to see a good guy doing well,” says Hurst.
