GILLINGHAM have always been a mystery to me. On paper, they’ve got everything to be a really big club. Proper stadium. Huge catchment area. The only EFL side in Kent.
There’s loads of nice places to live and you’re close enough that you can pick up the London lads.
The money flying around the Non-League scene down there is a joke, which just shows that people are willing to travel, too.
And why don’t they have better links with Premier League clubs?
I can only assume they must have burned some bridges in the past.
