TAN Kesler’s sudden departure from Hull City was described as being by mutual consent and accompanied by a brief statement.
We all know what that means. Firstly, there’s no such thing as mutual consent. Secondly, the terser the send-off, the more rancorous the exit.
Appearances may be deceptive. Kesler may have fancied a return to Turkey or been compelled by other pressing personal reasons to quit his post as vice-chairman with such great haste. But two and two generally makes four.
