OXFORD United are just one of my former clubs in the Championship this season and I’ve been really impressed with the way they’ve handled the step up so far.
It was a superb achievement by Des Buckingham to get the U’s promoted from League One last season, but moving up to the second tier is a different kettle of fish.
Des is a top operator and individual, and I think he will be happy to see how his team have adjusted to life back at that level after so many years out of the spotlight.
