DELIGHTED boss Phil Parkinson saluted his Wrexham troops after they cruised past struggling Shrewsbury to seize top spot in League One.
Ollie Palmer, Elliot Lee and Jack Marriott bagged the goals as the Red Dragons triumphed 3-0 to make it five games unbeaten on their return to the third tier.
With the bulk of their rivals not playing, Wrexham opened up a three-point lead at the summit.
