CAMBRIDGE United have been named the best-run club in the EFL in a survey run by clubs’ coalition Fair Game.
Their Index - which is compiled by leading academics and business consultants who special-ise in sports - monitors the financial stability of football clubs, weighting them 40 per cent for financial measures, 30 per cent for governance, 20 per cent for fan engagement and 10 per cent for equality standards.
