WEST Brom’s Josh Maja led the way with a hat-trick as the EFL’s exciting opening to the season continued yesterday.
After Blackburn beat Derby 4-2 in the Championship on Friday night, the Baggies ran out 3-1 winners at QPR thanks to Maja’s heroics. Watford won 3-2 at Millwall, while Leeds and new-boys Portsmouth played out a thrilling 3-3 draw.
