IN-FORM Patrick Bamford notched the only goal as Leeds continued their Happy New Year with a 1-0 home success against Norwich on Wednesday night.
Bamford planted a 16th-minute header into the net from a Dan James cross as the Whites recorded their fifth straight win in all competitions in 2024.
The three-point haul saw Leeds move to within two points of second-placed Ipswich and one adrift of thirdplaced Southampton, albeit their rivals have a game in hand.
