It’s time to revamp finance – Fair Game

Campaign group Fair Game have called for a ‘culture change’ in English football finance following their latest study.
The clubs’ coalition, seeking to improve the governance of football, looked at the latest accounts of the top 92 clubs in the English pyramid.
Only 66 of the 92 clubs filed accounts in 2021-22 that included both data on wages and cash reserves.
Of the 66, Plymouth were the most financially secure with 413 days’ worth of cash reserves, followed by Tottenham (395), Exeter (303), West Ham (259) and AFC Wimbledon (222).
