The Football League Paper says...

THE word legend is used far too much in sport, but it certainly applied to former Manchester United and England midfielder Bobby Charlton.
His death yesterday at the age of 86 will have left many in mourning. A World Cup winner with England, a European Cup winner with Manchester United, he did it all with style and modesty. In the EFL, Preston will remember their former player-manager. Thanks for all the memories, Bobby.
