DAVID Artell ensured Crewe made the most of an unexpected break.
A frozen pitch prevented their game with Portsmouth going ahead.
Alex boss Artell, 40, said: “We were disappointed, but every cloud has a silver lining and we have been able to get more training days into them.
“We have been able to have a couple of extra days we didn’t expect.”
