Prior to the current campaign, Josh Brownhill had scored just two goals in as many years at Burnley.
Yet this season’s rebirth as a dynamic No.10 under Vincent Kompany had, pre-weekend, yielded six goals, seven assists and a complete re-evaluation of a player once viewed as a dogged and disciplined midfield scrapper.
