Stoke City manager Mark Robins praised the fans for getting behind his team during the goalless draw with Watford.
Robins’ relegation-threatened side – still five points above the drop zone – avoided a third successive defeat and might have snatched a late winner but for Egil Selvik twice pulling off late saves.
The Hornets missed an opportunity to climb above some of their promotion rivals, dropping down one place into 10th, but still three points off the final play-off spot.
The Potters' boss was pleased with his side’s work-rate after the game.
