POMPEY SETBACK AS YENGI SITS OUT

PORTSMOUTH have suffered a blow with the news that striker Kusini Yengi will be out for between nine and 10 weeks with a knee injury.
Yengi suffered posterior cruciate ligament damage during Australia’s 2-2 draw in Bahrain in an AFC World Cup Qualifier last month, when the 25-year-old scored the opener and a 96th-minute equaliser.
“It’s not good news,” Pompey boss John Mousinho told BBC Radio So-lent, describing losing a player on international duty as “sometimes a bit more frustrating”.
