GARETH Ainsworth, Andy Mangan and Dino Maamria are all under consideration to take over at Shrewsbury Town.
The League One strugglers parted company with manager Paul Hurst following last weekend’s FA Cup exit at the hands of Salford.
Ainsworth, the 4/5 favourite with bookies, has been out of work since leaving QPR last year but has spoken recently of his desire to return to League One.
The 51-year-old famously won promotion from the division during a hugely successful 11year spell at Wycombe Wanderers.
