FORMER Premier League defender Paul Dummett is eager to use all his experience to help Wigan Athletic’s young squad.
The 33-year-old has joined Shaun Maloney’s Latics on a short-term contract until January.
He was released by Newcastle United in the summer after spending 14 years at St James’ Park.
He made over 200 appearances for the Magpies after graduating from the club’s academy.
“It’s a club with rich history and a brilliant, young squad that I can hopefully help progress up the league during my time here,” he said.
