Sheffield United’s Chris Wilder, new Blackpool boss Steve Bruce and Port Vale’s Darren Moore, a relative beginner compared to the other two, have claimed the prizes.
Blades boss Wilder took the Championship honour after four unbeaten games, all with clean sheets, yielded ten points.
