PAUL Watson, who left Swansea this week, is a good guy and a smart operator - and I’m sure he’ll bounce back.
I got to know Paul during his time as chief operating officer at Luton, when he was very important in terms of what the Hatters were trying to do with regards to recruitment.
I was loans manager at Leicester at the time and he took Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Adi Muskwe off us. Him and CEO Gary Sweet were excellent towards me and the players and our relationship blossomed to the point I was actually taking calls off him on my wedding day.
