CRISIS-HIT Reading are now facing the loss of manager Ruben Selles following the collapse of Rob Couhig’s long-awaited takeover.
Talks between the American and Royals owner Dai Yongge broke down this week, plunging the future of the League One side into doubt.
The Royals have been deducted 18 points for a variety of financial infringements during Dai’s seven-year reign and were relegated from the Championship in 2023.
