AT THE age of 63, no-one would have blamed Steve Bruce if he’d decided he didn’t want the hassle of football management any more.
After all, he’s more than done his fair share of time in the dugout. There have been those four promotions into the top flight, an FA Cup final with Hull City and more than a thou-sand games (see story right).
As well as the good times, he’s endured plenty of flak along the way at clubs such as Aston Villa, Newcastle and West Brom.
