LEYTON Orient boss Richie Wellens says “exciting” Zech Obiero has a big future ahead of him after the 19-year-old signed a new deal.
The midfielder was out of the first-team picture in the first half of the season and even spent a month on loan at Chelmsford in National League South.
But after being recalled in November, Obiero forced his way into the plans of O’s boss Wellens and had started three of the last four games heading into the final weekend of the campaign to earn a new two-year contract.
