Match Preview: Peterborough United v Port Vale (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Peterborough United host Port Vale on Wednesday at the Weston Homes Stadium in League One.

In their last league match, on April 1, Peterborough beat Leyton Orient 2-1 away, with goals from Ephron Mason-Clark and Hector Kyprianou.

Vale drew, 0-0 away at Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

With 77 goals in 40 games so far this season, Peterborough are the league’s second-highest scorers with 1.9 goals per game. And they are conceding fewer than average, letting in 50 goals at a rate of 1.2 per game.
