Match Preview: Stevenage v Barnsley (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Barnsley face a challenge to maintain their high-scoring form away against a tight Stevenage defence on Tuesday.

With 74 goals in 41 games, Barnsley are the third-highest scorers in League One ahead of the 7.45pm kick-off at the Lamex Stadium.

They face a Boro side who have scored 51 in 42 matches, but conceded only 41 goals, putting them fourth among the league’s tightest defences – only Portsmouth, Derby County and Lincoln City have conceded fewer goals.

Stevenage’s last match was on Saturday, a 1-0 loss against Exeter City.

Barnsley lost 2-1 against Charlton Athletic last time out, also on Saturday, with Adam Phillips on the scoresheet.
