BRADFORD City have appointed former Wigan chairman David Sharpe as their new head of football operations.
Sharpe was just 23 when he assumed control of the Latics from his grandfather, Dave Whelan, in 2015.
He oversaw two promotions to the Championship before selling the family stake in 2019 and subsequently worked as an agent prior to spending two-and-a-half years as CEO at Mansfield.
The 32-year-old left the League Two side last May but has now returned to football in what is a newly-created position at Valley Parade.
