CHARLTON boss Nathan Jones has hailed the “experience and quality” of new signing Connor Wickham.
The 30-year-old striker has joined the League One Addicks on a deal until the end of the season after impressing on a two-week trial.
Wickham came through the ranks at Ipswich, making his debut aged 16, and was widely tipped as a future England international prior to sealing an £8m switch to the Premier League with Sunderland in 2011.
Injuries hampered his progress, however, and Wickham scored just 19 goals in 120 Premier League appearances for Sunde...
