Tyreeq’s hungry to shine for the Addicks

Tyreeq Bakinson says he is ‘buzzing’ to have joined Charlton Athletic on loan from Sheffield Wednesday until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old midfielder, born in Camden, came through the ranks at Luton before going on to serve Bristol City, Newport (loan), Pymouth (loan) and Ipswich (loan).
He moved to Wednesday in 2022 and helped the Owls to promotion from League One last term. Now he is stepping back into the third tier with the Addicks.
“I’m buzzing to get it over the line and I’m very happy to be here,” he told the club website.
