IT OFTEN seems in football that one group of people are rarely in the conversation when important decisions about the game are made – the players themselves.
Some will say that is only right – let the players play and the powers-that-be sort things out off the ball. But let’s not forget that without the players, we wouldn’t have a game, or the multi-billion pound industry that exists off the back of it.
