CHANCE: Ex-Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins

A KEY broker behind the sale of Newport County to Huw Jenkins said the Exiles faced “chaos” if the former Swansea chairman’s bid had been thwarted.
Currently owned and run by the Supporters’ Trust, Newport posted losses of £1.2m in their latest accounts and recently announced that at least £500,000 in fresh investment was required to fund ongoing losses and pay creditors.
