Clarke eyes up action replay

Max Clark won promotion from League Two with Stevenage last term – and now he’s aiming to do it all over again with Gillingham.
The 27-year-old left-back notched up 38 league appearances as Steve Evans’ Boro finished runners-up behind Leyton Orient in 2022-23. However, the Hullborn defender was somewhat surprisingly released, paving the way for his move to Gillingham.
And it’s a promising sign that Clark can see similarities between his old club and his new one.
