SINGH TO BOW OUT OF POOLS

Chairman in blast at ‘abuse’

CHAIRMAN Raj Singh says his decision to put Hartlepool United up for sale was ‘perhaps the toughest I have ever had to make’.
Pools’ relegation from the Football League was virtually sealed when they lost their crunch home clash with rivals Crawley 2-0 last weekend.
It was confirmed yesterday despite a 3-1 win against Barrow.
It is only the north-east club’s second season back in the EFL after a four-year absence and supporters made their feelings known after defeat to Crawley.
