Swindon joy over stadium

Swindon Town are looking forward to a bright future after completing the purchase of the County Ground home in partnership with their supporters.
Working with Swindon Town Community Mutual Ltd (Trust-STFC), contracts were exchanged early last month between their joint venture company, The County Ground Stadium Custodians Ltd, and Swindon Borough Council.
A deposit of £230,000 was handed over and the sale price of £2.3m has now been paid in full with funding coming from the Nigel Eady Trust.
