ARE Sheffield Wednesday heading back to the Championship? Well, it would be a brave person to bet against them. Yesterday’s 1-0 victory at Portsmouth extended the Owls’ club-record unbeaten run to 22 league matches and they are proving an incredibly tough nut for third tier attacks to break down.
It wasn’t the best of games yesterday, but Wednesday have proven time and again this season that they can grind out results – and that is, as we know, often key over a gruelling nine-month campaign.
