The League Paper

What’s in this Sunday’s Football League Paper (03/03/23)

After midweek success in the FA Cup, attention turns back to the league for the two sides favoured for Championship automatic promotion.

And our Star Games in the Championship will see Burnley head to Blackpool, with Sheffield United visiting Blackburn.

Bristol Rovers host play-off Barnsley in our featured game in League One, and in League Two 3rd placed Carlisle host FA Cup quarter-finalists Grimbsy.

Of course, after the Mariners’ stunning victory at Premier League Southampton, we will also wrap up all the midweek FA Cup action.

Heading across the world we speak to Simon Grayson, and the experienced EFL boss tells us all about his latest challenge managing Bengaluru in India.

Back home, defender Gethin Jones discusses rejuvenated Bolton’s push for league and cup glory and striker Caolan Lavery attempts to seize his fresh EFL chance with Doncaster.

Guest columnist and Stevenage boss Steve Evans discusses the progress the club have made on and off the pitch over the past year.

And, winger Kazeem Olaigbe relishes regular game time on loan at Harrogate.
