IMPROVING: George Thomason has shone for Bolton

Talented midfielder George Thomason says he is ‘proud and privileged’ to have signed a new long-term contract with Bolton.
The 21-year-old is currently sidelined with a knee injury, which is set to keep him out for another couple of months, but the Trotters didn’t hesitate to offer him new terms.
They have now secured his services until June 2025 with the option of a further year. Barrow- born Thomason, who joined from Longridge Town in January 2020, is delighted to be staying put.
