Top gun Kolo can inspire Latics – Boyce

Wigan Athletic legend Emmerson Boyce believes the Latics are in for an ‘exciting time’ with rookie manager Kolo Toure at the helm – and he’s delighted another black manager has been given a shot in the EFL.
The Championship club appointed the former Arsenal and Manchester City defender as their new boss on a three-and-a-half year deal on Tuesday.
The 41-year-old has spent the past five years coaching at Celtic and Leicester under Brendan Rodgers and is now set for his opening foray as the main man.
