WINNER FINLEY CHUFFED TO STAY A ROVER

MIDFIELDER Sam Finley has signed a new contract that will keep him at Bristol Rovers until the summer of 2024.
Finley, 30, arrived from Fleetwood in May last year and quickly became an integral part of Joey Barton’s side, scoring five goals in 35 appearances as the Gas won automatic promotion from League Two last season.
This term, he has regularly donned the armband in the absence of experienced club captain Paul Coutts.
