THERE was some tremendous action across the Carabao Cup in midweek – and plenty of goals to savour.
If you go to a game and see one special goal, you usually count yourself lucky.
Those who attended Sheffield Wednesday’s home match against Rochdale certainly couldn’t complain.
Three long-range screamers in the first half from Jaden Brown, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Dennis Adeniran were worth the admission money alone. You had to have a degree of sympathy for Dale’s 19-year-old keeper Cieran Slicker.
