EFL FURIOUS AT CUP PITCH INVADERS…

ANGRY EFL chiefs have branded the pitch invasion by jubilant Crawley Town fans after their midweek Carabao Cup success against Fulham as ‘unacceptable’.
A number of fans went on the pitch to celebrate after the League Two side’s 2-0 victory against their Premier League opponents.
The EFL and Premier League brought in new measures to tackle fan behaviour this summer. Concerns had been raised about safety at grounds after a number of pitch invasions at the end of last season.
