BEESTIN’S BIG IRON AMBITION

ALFIE Beestin has set his sights on returning Scunthorpe to the EFL after signing a new twoyear contract.
The former Doncaster midfielder, 24, is determined to repay the faith shown in him by manager Keith Hill following the Iron’s relegation.
“I respect him for believing in my ability, even after this season,” said Beestin. “For him to put that trust in me and give me a two-year deal, I can’t thank him enough.
“The National League is one of the hardest leagues to get out of. We need to start strong to get back in the Football League.”
