Barton’s Rovers in miracle promotion

PROUD boss Joey Barton saluted his Bristol Rovers braves after they demolished Scunthorpe 7-0 to earn promotion to League One.
Northampton had started the day in third and won 3-1 at Barrow, but the Gas’ barnstorming victory against the already-relegated Iron took them above the Cobblers on goals scored.
