HARROGATE will be with Will Smith “every step of the way” as he begins the road to recovery after rupturing an anterior cruciate ligament.
The defender, 23, suffered the injury midway through the first half of Town’s defeat at Northampton last Monday and faces a lengthy spell out.
“It doesn’t really get much worse than that,” said boss Simon Weaver.
