EXILES & STAGS PAY THE PRICE FOR BUST-UP

NEWPORT County and Mansfield Town have been fined by the FA after their draw at Rodney Parade two weeks ago.
They had been charged over a melee which saw Mansfield’s John-Joe O’Toole sent off. The Stags have been fined £1,750 and Newport £1,250.
Both clubs admitted failing “to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and refrained from provocative behaviour,” the FA said.
An independent regulatory commission imposed the fines. The game ended 1-1, with a late penalty from Newport’s Dom Telford cancelling...
