IMPS’ CUP STAMP OF APPROVAL

LINCOLN’S fifth-round win over Burnley in the 2016-17 season has been used on a set of stamps to mark the 150th anniversary of the FA Cup.
The Imps’ victory saw them become the first Non-League side to reach the quarterfinals in more than a century, with Sean Raggett’s goal celebration used as the image.
Club photographer Chris Vaughan, who took the snap, revealed his pride at his picture being chosen. He said:
“I’ve had photos used in many different places, but this is a first for me. It was a lovely surprise!”
