CREWE manager David Artell has revealed that defender Zac Williams is “desperate to get back”.
The 17-year-old is recovering after a stomach illness in January. “Zac is back in the building and recovering,” said Artell.
“We have to be careful with him. He is only 17 and those youngsters can bounce back quicker, but with a youngster they are more likely to have a relapse as well, so you have to act cautiously.
“Zac is eating like a horse and is desperate to get back. When he is ready we’ll look to reintroduce him.”
