WICKHAM HAS DONS AMBITION

CONNOR Wickham admits the chance to reunite with Liam Manning at MK Dons was an opportunity he “couldn’t say no to”.
Manning coached the striker when he was starting out at Ipswich, while the 28-year-old also knows sporting director Liam Sweeting from his time at Crystal Palace.
Wickham, who has signed a deal until the end of the season, said: “Me and the gaffer go way back and, ultimately, this is a chance for me to join a great club with huge potential and hopefully I can become a good addition.”
